Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom support under the guidance of teachers and administrators. Assist students with academic and behavioral needs, focusing on those with high needs. Support inclusive education practices and individualized learning plans. Help maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment. Collaborate with educators and staff to implement instructional strategies. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience working with high-needs students in an elementary school setting. Understanding of paraprofessional roles within special education and general education environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compliance with all school policies and procedures. Location: Elementary School Joliet, Illinois Employment Details: Contract position covering FMLA leave Job duration aligned with the current school year, with potential adjustments to end date. Part-time schedule, approximately 35 hours per week.
