A healthcare facility in Philadelphia is seeking skilled inpatient pharmacists to support their medication therapy programs during day and evening shifts. This contract-to-hire position provides a chance for pharmacists to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team while ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and adherence to clinical protocols Evaluate patient allergies, medical histories, drug interactions, and laboratory results prior to dispensing medications Dispense medications in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Offer drug information and clinical support to medical staff to optimize patient care Supervise pharmacy technicians and students, promoting safe medication preparation practices Participate in inventory control and medication management activities Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient care plans, including discharge planning Qualifications and Desired Experience: Bachelors Degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience or APPE clinical/hospital rotation preferred Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required BLS certification preferred Location:Philadelphia,
