Job Description Job Description Applicants must be currently licensed in Florida as a mental health therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent). Registered interns may apply. Position Overview: We are seeking an empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) to join our growing multi-disciplinary team. This role will provide assessments and therapeutic interventions for individuals who currently or formerly experienced homelessness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for collaboration and a background in mental health counseling, crisis intervention and trauma-informed care. They should have a desire to work with diverse and underserved populations. Responsibilities: Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans. Individual Therapy: Provide evidence-based individual therapy to address a range of mental health concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use. Tailor therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs and experiences of clients who have experienced homelessness. Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress. Collaborate with emergency services and other relevant stakeholders as needed. Collaboration and Referrals: Coordinate with case managers, medical professionals, and other service providers to ensure holistic care for clients. Make appropriate referrals to external resources and specialists when necessary. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies. Prepare reports on client progress and outcomes as required. Who Were Seeking: Someone currently licensed in Florida as a mental health therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent). Experience working with individuals who have experienced homelessness or trauma. Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
