Sr. Director, HR Operations (Integra LifeSciences)

Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid full‑time). On‑site presence required Tuesday through Thursday, with occasional flexibility for early morning or evening calls to support global collaboration.

Summary: Reporting to the VP, Global Total Rewards and HR Services, the Senior Director will design, implement, and govern global HR operational strategies that support organizational growth and business objectives. The role oversees all aspects of HR operations—including payroll, HRIS, people analytics, shared services, and change management—ensuring compliance and operational excellence across all regions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with VP, CHRO, and senior leadership to develop and execute global HR operational strategies and initiatives supporting business growth.
  • Define and manage priorities, infrastructure, and governance for HR systems, processes, policies, and programs.
  • Oversee global HR operations (payroll, HRIS, people analytics, shared services) ensuring compliance with local and global regulations.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management and communication strategy with standardized tools for global programs.
  • Lead process improvements and technology enhancements to optimize service delivery and reduce costs.
  • Develop mechanisms to evaluate the impact and success of shared service delivery.
  • Enable AI‑driven capabilities and on‑demand services to provide fast, efficient solutions for employees worldwide.
  • Recommend improvements to people processes focused on employee experience, automation, and scalability while balancing strategy and execution.
  • Manage creation and maintenance of process maps and SOPs, ensuring they are current, compliant, and fit for purpose.
  • Build strong relationships with HR functional leaders, external partners, and vendors to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Monitor key HR metrics and leverage data‑driven insights to enhance HR services and business outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with labor laws across all countries.
  • Continuously review and improve HR policies, practices, systems, and templates to maintain global compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with Finance, Legal, and IT teams to ensure integrated HR service delivery.
  • Conduct research and analysis on HR trends, including technology, automation, and employee experience.
  • Stay current on U.S. and global HR policies, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in global HR services and leadership on a global, high‑growth organization.
  • Track record of building and leading broad‑based, strategically aligned HR services teams in high‑growth companies.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable HR processes, programs, and technology solutions, including Workday and people analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, best practices, global employment laws, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and HR systems.
  • Broad business acumen, sound judgment, strategic thinking, and executive experience in operations; global experience including APAC/China and Western Europe.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (preferred in life sciences/MedTech).
  • Results‑oriented, resourceful, innovative, cost‑effective, fiscally responsible.
  • Deep understanding of financial, customer service, production, and employee management functions.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Capacity to streamline or implement structures and roles to enhance speed and efficiency in a fast‑changing environment.
  • People‑centric leadership with empathy, approachability, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and team‑building skills; ability to motivate and coach.
  • Proven ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced dynamic setting.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Pay Range: $192,050.00 – $263,350.00 USD (base salary). Eligibility for bonus, commission, equity, or other variable compensation.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, group legal insurance, and 401(k) savings plan.
