Job Responsibilities:- Serve as Medical Director for the pediatric hospitalist practice.
- Provide coverage for high-risk deliveries.
- Conduct emergency room consults involving pediatric patients.
- Manage pediatric admissions of low acuity cases.
- Provide well newborn care at the hospital.
- Collaborate with an affiliated Level-III NICU for newborns requiring intensive care.
- Work a full-time schedule of twelve 24-hour shifts per month with on-call responsibilities from home.
- Support a hospital with approximately 500 deliveries annually.
- Engage in a collaborative environment; commuters are welcome to apply.
- This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency in the immediate area.
- Board Certified (BC) Pediatrician.
- Current in-patient hospital experience.
- Clean malpractice and license history (preferred).
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within the past 30 days).
- California Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA must be obtained prior to start.
