Materials Mover – 3rd Shift

On-Site | Sumner, Iowa Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM (4x10s) Life Line Emergency Vehicles is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented

Materials Mover

team member to join our

3rd shift

operations. If you’re organized, proactive, and enjoy supporting production by keeping parts moving efficiently, this role offers a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do

Material Handling & Delivery Pick materials from the stockroom based on Material Pick Lists (MPLs).

Use the computer system to locate part numbers and bin locations.

Deliver parts to the production area using wire carts.

Respond to requests from production coordinators and materials liaisons.

Inventory Management Enter accurate inventory transactions and issue materials to Work-In-Progress (WIP).

Refill Kanban inventory bins and support inventory flow.

Perform cycle counts on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis.

Team Support Work closely with production, engineering, and materials team members.

Assist with returns, part requests, and resolving material-related issues.

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and stockroom environment.

Safely operate forklifts to move and transport materials.

What You Bring

Strong counting, math, and organizational skills.

Ability to follow and interpret work orders.

Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Excellent communication (phone, email, and face-to-face).

Basic forklift experience or willingness to train.

Team-oriented attitude and ability to work independently.

Preferred: Previous experience with inventory systems or materials handling.

Knowledge of Life Line products and manufacturing processes.

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred (high school diploma required).

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Regularly required to walk, lift, bend, kneel, and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Work indoors with exposure to temperature changes, mechanical equipment, and airborne particles.

Must be able to use senses such as sight, touch, and hearing to perform job duties.
