Job Summary The Executive Recruiter will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top senior level and executive talent for DENSO in North America. This role requires a seasoned search professional with a deep understanding of executive search methodology, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Ideal candidates will combine industry insight, robust networks, and a high-touch stakeholder approach with the ability to advise senior leaders, shape our executive bench, and attract world‑class talent aligned to our long‑term business strategy. Responsibilities Executive Search & Talent Acquisition Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior manager, director, VP leadership roles across North American operations (US, Canada and Mexico). Build tailored sourcing pipelines for niche and high-demand leadership supporting key technical domains—including electrification, advanced manufacturing/lean operations, quality systems, cloud technologies, and sales—as well as essential corporate functions such as legal, finance/accounting, HR, and purchasing. Build and engage a pipeline of executive-level talent using networking, market mapping, research, and direct outreach. Conduct in-depth interviews and candidate assessments to evaluate leadership capabilities, cultural fit, and readiness for complex, high-impact roles. Stakeholder Partnership Partner with senior leadership, compensation and HR to define role requirements (i.e., skills, experience, education) Work with compensation to provide strategic guidance on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, competitive landscape, and hiring market trends to determine role design and search strategy. Influence hiring decisions by presenting calibrated shortlists and consultative assessments. Candidate Management Manage confidential senior‑level interactions with professionalism and discretion. Maintain a best-in-class candidate experience—ensuring timely communication, clarity around expectations, and a smooth interview‑to‑offer process. Guide candidates through complex offer negotiations involving mobility, bonus structures, and incentive programs. Market & Talent Intelligence Conduct industry research and competitor talent mapping analyzing talent availability, compensation expectations, role design variations, market demand, and geographical supply constraints. Maintain deep expertise in executive interviewing and assessment methodologies by evaluating assessment tools and benchmarking against industry best practices to ensure consistent, high‑quality executive hiring decisions. Process Excellence Utilize ATS and recruiting tools to track KPIs, hiring cycle time, candidate quality, and funnel health. Develop standardized search processes that support scalability and continuous improvement. Ensure hiring practices align with legal, compliance, and diversity initiatives. Qualifications 8+ years of recruiting experience with at least 3–5 years focused on executive or senior leadership hiring. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree, HR certification (SPHR, SHRM‑SCP), AIRS Certifications (e.g., CIR, CDR, PRC) preferred Proven success recruiting for talent in the automotive industry, large manufacturing organizations or related Skilled at managing multiple critical searches for leadership and specialized roles that enable growth, support strategic programs, and ensure timely delivery of business objectives. Strong interpersonal and communication skills High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to set and maintain both short‑ and long‑term objectives. Skills & Competencies Broad automotive industry expertise covering engineering and design, manufacturing processes, quality systems, supply chain, product lifecycle, and business/functional operations. Strong sourcing and research skills with the ability to engage hidden executive talent. Exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience influencing senior executive leaders. Strong business acumen, with an ability to understand organizational strategy and translate it into effective talent solutions. Ability to evaluate senior and executive level leadership across multiple dimensions, including strategic vision, cross‑functional influence, stakeholder management, change leadership, and talent development impact. Excellent communication, influence, and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders. Exceptional professionalism and confidentiality with executive‑level candidates.
