The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, will be able to provide a broad range of finance and accounting support, is highly attentive to detail, and is driven to improve processes and procedures./ppRoles and Responsibilities:/pulliProcess month-end billing and invoices for all assigned projects/liliProcess all subcontractor and independent contractor invoices and vendor accounts payables/liliProcess employee expense reports/liliProcess weekly accounts payable check run/liliAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close/liliReconcile discrepancies and variances through research and analysis/liliCreate and maintain standardized reports using Excel and other cost tools/liliProvide information and support for internal and external audits/liliIdentify areas of opportunity to become more efficient in processes and reporting/liliCreate and document processes and procedures to ensure consistency of practice/liliAssist with additional functions within the parameters of accounting and finance operations policies and procedures/liliAssists with other assignments and/or special projects as requested/li/ulpMinimum Requirements:/pulliBachelors in Accounting or Finance/lili0-2 years relevant experience/liliKnowledge of US GAAP with strong general accounting skills/liliA high level of proficiency in Excel required/liliHighly organized and able to multi-task/liliAbility to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment/liliA team player with a positive attitude/li/ulpPreferred Skills/Qualifications:/pulliMinimum 1 year of experience in accounting for a government contracting company/liliSecret clearance preferred/liliExperience with QuickBooks/li/ulpTAG was founded on and thrives based on relationships, reputation, and trust.
