Executive Legal Secretary
The Los Angeles office of Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP seeks an Executive Legal Secretary to provide legal and administrative support to our Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Corporate attorneys.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and e?mail
- Prepare and edit PowerPoint presentations
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing expense reports, check requests, and time entry
- Intake new cases
- Maintain attorneys calendar and schedule appointments
- Coordinate client meetings
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
- Electronic filing of documents and electronic communication
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Current transactional secretarial experience of at least 3 years
- Data Privacy and Cybersecurity experience, a plus
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two?year college or technical school, or at least three years of legal secretarial experience
- Ability to type, read, and write in order to proofread and perform initial input and revisions to legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and email
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and use good judgment to meet deadlines
- Superior knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A self?starter who takes initiative and is a team player
- Ability to work overtime when needed
CA salary range $80,000 $95,000.
