An opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist specializing in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. This contract position is based in Glenview, IL, supporting a leading hospital with a focus on advanced cardiovascular care. Key Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting, including both catheterization and electrophysiology expertise Current ARRT certification and valid Illinois technologist license BLS and ACLS certifications required Ability to respond to call-back within 30 minutes with a 2-hour minimum call-back commitment Strong communication and teamwork skills demonstrated through recent supervisory reference Schedule & Location: 40 hours per week, four 10-hour daytime shifts with rotating days off Rotating on-call schedule requiring coverage 2-3 days during the week and every third weekend, including some holiday availability Contract duration approximately 13 weeks in Glenview, IL, a suburban community known for its excellent schools, diverse amenities, and proximity to Lake Michigan and Chicagos vibrant urban culture Position Responsibilities: Perform imaging and monitoring during complex cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures Maintain sterile field and ensure equipment functionality and safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care Participate in on-call rotations to support emergent cases as required This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced technical skills in a well-equipped, patient-focused Cath Lab environment.
