This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student well-being and educational success within a dynamic school environment. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-12. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop appropriate intervention strategies. Provide counseling and support services tailored to individual student needs. Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans. Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations as necessary. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to fostering a positive school climate. Qualifications and Experience: Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist. Experience working with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, with particular emphasis on middle and high school populations. Strong knowledge of assessment tools, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining detailed documentation. Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to special education.
