Waukegan offers a diverse community with a mix of lakeside recreation and vibrant cultural activities, making it a well-rounded place to live and work. Responsibilities: Provide direct care to a fourth-grade student, including feeding and toileting assistance utilizing a hoyer lift Assist other students in classroom activities, mainly within ELA classes Collaborate closely with school staff and healthcare professionals to support student needs Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and student progress Qualifications/Desired Experience: Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required Experience working with pediatric or school-age children preferred Ability to work effectively both one-on-one and within group classroom settings Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach to care Contract Details: Contract position with an end date in June 2026 Weekly hours approximately 32.5 Onsite work environment This contract offers the chance to make a positive difference in a unique healthcare role within education.
