Seeking experienced Cath Lab Technicians to support a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab team in Spring, TX. This contract opportunity involves working with advanced imaging technology in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The position requires expertise with cardiac catheterization procedures and collaborative teamwork to ensure exceptional patient care. Location:Position is based in Spring, TX, within a well-equipped cardiac catheterization lab featuring two procedure rooms. The facility employs a dedicated team including RNs and Cath Lab Techs, operating primarily during day shifts with on-call night staff. Spring offers a comfortable living environment with easy access to urban amenities and a strong healthcare community. Responsibilities: Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart caths, pacemaker/ICD implants, vascular procedures, and electrophysiology ablations. Operate Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment with precision. Utilize EMR systems such as MERGE Hemo for Cath Lab documentation and Meditech. Adhere to procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and sedation protocols. Collaborate closely with team members to maintain patient safety and optimize procedural outcomes. Participate in weekend rotations and on-call schedules as required. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and active Texas state license. Strong cath lab imaging skills, with a focus on cardiac procedures. Experience with electrophysiology preferred. Demonstrated ability to work flexibly in a team environment. Familiarity with pre/post cath department functions is a plus. Benefits & Work Schedule: Hospital-provided scrubs with a designated color code. Scheduled shifts include one full weekend plus two weekdays per 10-shift, four-week cycle.
