Leo A Daly Senior Project Manager Senior Project Managers are responsible for driving results by coordinating the workload of the project team through all project stages to complete documents within project scope, on schedule, and meeting the client’s and company’s budgets. This position requires involvement with the management, production, and coordination of several projects concurrently. Senior Project Managers lead the project teams of large projects with a high degree of technical complexity using all project delivery methods. They must exhibit excellent client‑relationship skills and are expected to be involved with marketing, proposal development, contract negotiation, and production meetings. Senior Project Managers work collaboratively with individuals throughout the organization with a strong team‑oriented approach.

Job Summary The Senior Project Manager role is responsible for managing and coordinating all project efforts to ensure effective execution. The role includes preparing financial work plans and serving as the primary client liaison.

Job Responsibilities

Create, direct, and oversee strategic plans for overall success throughout the project lifecycle. Establish project scope, goals, deliverables, and ensure QAQC protocols while planning, tracking, and scheduling timelines and milestones.

Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Supervise project team members and contractors, and influence all to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in interviews.

Required Education & Experience

Professional expertise demonstrated through 15+ years of project management experience.

Demonstrated experience leading large client user groups through a project design process.

Large project experience required. Experience with CMAR and Design‑Build delivery methods is preferred.

Experience in the healthcare and/or federal market sectors preferred.

Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required.

Registered Professional Engineer preferred.

Proficiency with Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) preferred.

Proven ability to develop meaningful professional relationships, work with a variety of personalities, and resolve conflicts with a sense of urgency.

Working knowledge of current construction materials and methods and variety of project delivery and contracting processes.

Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills with the ability to remain current on issues relating to a number of concurrent projects in various stages.

Ability to work collaboratively with individuals throughout the organization with a strong team‑oriented approach.

Exceptional client management, customer service orientation, writing and presentation skills.

Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
