The Role:

As an Software Engineer on the Core Infrastructure team at Compa, you will own and lead infra and DevOps projects across Compa’s products, systems, AI/ML, and data warehouse.

In this role you will :

Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools and services

Work on scaling, automation, reliability and observability of infrastructure services

Drive major company initiatives like multi-cloud support and customer-managed encryption keys

Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization

Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role

Experience designing, building, and operating systems on one of the major cloud providers

A strong engineering background in DevOps

Experience with operational excellence and a deep understanding of metrics, alarms and dashboards

A passion for enabling teams to build fast while building safely through well-designed proactive detection mechanisms and tooling.

Deep understanding of networking, operating systems, and cryptographic protocols

In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes

Gumption — experience working at early-stage startups

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience handling critical incidents for production systems

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments

Exposure to multi-cloud environments

Exposure to ML Ops

Compensation Range: $100K - $210K
