The candidate will report directly to the FP&A Process and System Improvement Lead. This role is integral to a team dedicated to enhancing the strategic capabilities of FP&A leadership by improving decision effectiveness, process efficiency, and the overall experience for our stakeholders.

The FP&A Process and System Improvement team will support FP&A leadership by improving Decision Effectiveness, Process Efficiency, and Stakeholder Experience:

Decision Effectiveness : Empower stakeholder decisions with actionable insights delivered through a scalable, robust analytical platform

Process Efficiency : Streamline, automate and integrate firmwide planning and reporting, in support of a fast-paced, high-performing team

Stakeholder Experience : Foster a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset to drive exceptional results for internal and external stakeholders

As a key member, the candidate will lead critical engagements with FP&A, the wider Finance organization, and other functions, driving transformative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Process Re-engineering & Optimization:

Structure and drive analytical plans, translating complex problems into actionable solutions by identifying, sizing, prioritizing opportunities and developing detailed implementation roadmaps

Lead the analysis of complex data and processes, synthesize clear findings, and design optimal business, operating, and governance models

Project Leadership & Delivery:

Plan, lead, and manage all phases of complex engagements, ensuring robust project execution, risk mitigation, and timely delivery

Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, securing their engagement and ensuring the successful adoption of recommendations and solutions

Risk & Control Stewardship:

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup (and its clients and assets)

Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

Adhere to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications

6+ years of experience within financial institutions or serving financial institutions as a consultant. Financial Planning & Analysis experience is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in a STEM, business, finance, economics, accounting, or other analytical field with outstanding academic record; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Leadership & Communication:

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to influence and engage senior stakeholders effectively through clear, concise, and compelling narratives

Proven track record of high performance and significant achievements in previous roles, consistently delivering impactful results

Possess a bold, curious, and determined approach, driven by a desire for continuous improvement and excellence

A strong team player, capable of fostering collaboration and contributing positively to a dynamic team environment

Transformation Project Delivery:

Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills, coupled with an ability to prioritize tasks and initiatives to achieve critical objectives

Prior experience managing process re-engineering, business transformation, and process simplification engagements and leading the teams involved

Analytical & Technical Proficiency:

Mastery in developing professional and impactful presentations and deliverables using PowerPoint to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively

Demonstrated expertise in using advanced analytical tools, including exceptional proficiency in MS Excel for complex data analysis and financial modeling

Risk & Control Orientation:

Solid understanding of financial controls, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $163,600.00 - $245,400.00
