This is a critical role within the WW Operations FP&A team and is responsible for managing the Department Spend for all of WWOps and other FP&A projects related to Operation initiatives as assigned. The position requires in-depth knowledge of forecasting (P&L and Headcount), trending analysis, the Company’s financial policies and procedures, as well as Finance systems. This role will provide world‑class business partner support to various Operations Directors and their teams, requiring excellent communication skills, a strong business insight, and ability to solve problems real‑time. The position offers the unique opportunity to work closely with all areas of Engineering & Operations and cross‑functionally with many teams, including Global Business Solutions, and many business teams. Description Responsible for driving the financial forecast and close processes in close collaboration with all global Operations Finance teams and Corporate FP&A, covering both monthly and long‑range planning while maintaining a deep understanding of operational drivers to proactively surface potential issues. The position is required to understand the Company’s financial policies and procedures in order to provide appropriate guidance to our business partners on spend authorizations and related quarter close matters. It also requires partnering with cross‑functional teams to implement financial best practices, optimize financial processes and systems, and provide world‑class Finance support for various Operations teams. Additionally, the position will engage in other assigned projects that may span across authoring new policies to designing new systems and related dashboards for the business.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or related filed. CPA/MBA a plus but not required.
7+ years experience in financial experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis with increasing responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Creative and curious self starter
Solid analytical & financial modeling background
Must have strong track record of delivering high quality work under tight deadlines
Capable of grasping essentials in unstructured complex situations
Fierce attention to detail with accuracy
Outstanding communication and presentation skills to various levels of the organization
Strong ability to develop and foster relationships across many functions to accomplish goals
High level of proficiency with Excel and Keynote and Tableau
Champion of continuous improvement and innovation, knowledge of Dataiku and experience with Snowflake is strongly preferred
Experience with database programs, SAP BPC, Business Objects, SQL are a plus
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,300 and $263,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
