Whether cultivating the earth or building upon it, Topcon brings innovation in workflow automation and seamless connectivity of data to construction, geopositioning and agriculture industries focused on developing a sustainable tomorrow.Learn more about working with us at**Topcon** **Sales Unit** is looking for a motivated and committed**Regional Manager Geomatics Southern Europe****Core Job Duties**The Regional Manager is responsible for leading the sales teams within the organization.This position involves managing and directing the strategic and operational activities of the sales team.The candidate will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement direct sales strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives enabling the organization to "move fast" as it continues to scale through efficient execution on key strategic initiatives.The Regional Sales Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the direct sales team supports the achievement of the company's overall goals.**Key Accountabilities:*** Develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives.* Defining and executing territory sales plans.* Manage the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, sales calls, and closing deals.* Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop sales materials, presentations, and proposals.* Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.* Analyze customer base and actively look for possibilities to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers.* Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation.* Work with the local teams to increase the number of customers across the region.* Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team.* Manage and develop a team of sales personnel, including sales representatives and account managers, to ensure efficient and effective operations.* Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing direct sales activities.* Provide strategic direction to the sales team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the direct sales function supports the achievement of the company's overall goals.* Prepare and present sales reports to senior leadership, including performance metrics, trends, and key insights.**Education and Experience**:* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.* **Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing direct sales operations.*** Experience in leading an interculturally diverse team**Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:*** Strong knowledge of direct sales principles and practices.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
