Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Utica, NY. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing valuable advice and counseling to patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, supervising pharmacy technicians, and adhering to regulatory standards. Qualifications
Proven knowledge in medication dispensing, prescription verification, and drug therapy management Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient counseling and collaborate with healthcare professionals Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols Ability to use pharmacy management systems and maintain accurate records A valid pharmacist license to practice in the state of New York Dedication to delivering excellent patient care and improving health outcomes Prior experience in a retail pharmacy or similar healthcare setting is an advantage
