BMR Health Services is seeking a School Based AAC/AT Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the rest of the school year 2025-2026 ! You will evaluate and treat children with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
*Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist:*
Assessing individuals' communication needs, developing and implementing customized Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) plans, and training individuals, families, and educational teams in the use of these devices and strategies. Key duties also involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, troubleshooting technology issues, documenting progress, and staying current with advancements in the field.
* *Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist* * Master's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program with AAC certification. * CA SLP licensure or ability to obtain required licensure. * Experience working in school programs or with pediatric populations is preferred * Ability to build rapport with patients * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Positive and patient demeanor
