About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset Management and Operations and Maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of the company's renewable energy asset portfolio, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and profitability. This executive will lead the management of the asset lifecycle, oversee O&M activities, and drive continuous improvement across wind, solar, and energy storage projects. Key responsibilities include financial performance monitoring, budgeting, and reporting, as well as the development and implementation of asset optimization strategies. The role also involves managing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the company's growth and sustainability goals.
Candidates for this role should have a Bachelors degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in asset management and/or O&M within the energy sector, including at least 5 years in a leadership position, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale renewable energy assets, strong financial acumen, and a deep understanding of regulatory, environmental, and safety standards in the industry. Expertise in technology and data analytics to drive asset performance, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, are essential. The role also demands a willingness to travel and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
