Accessibility Tester Job at Innova Solutions in Addison

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Accessibility Test Engineer Position Type: Full Time - Contract Duration: 12+ Months Location: Addison, TX As an Accessibility Test Engineer, you will ensure client's digital products meet accessibility standards and provide an inclusive experience for all users. • Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Evaluate web and mobile applications for accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA, Section 508).
• Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing using tools such as JAWS, NVDA, Axe, Lighthouse, and WAVE.
• Identify, document, and track accessibility issues, and collaborate with development teams for remediation.
• Provide recommendations and guidance on accessibility best practices.
• Participate in accessibility reviews and audits for new and existing applications.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and product owners to integrate accessibility throughout the development lifecycle.

• Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE).
• Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 guidelines and ADA compliance.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and ARIA attributes.
• Ability to create clear and concise defect reports.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
• IAAP certification (CPACC, WAS) is a plus.
