The Respite Clinical Specialist provides clinical assessment, risk/safety planning and treatment planning for onsite and community respite clients. Leads development of short-term comprehensive recovery-based services that focus on engagement/motivational interviewing, harm reduction, coping skills and resource gathering. Works with the site manager and program director to conduct intakes and discharge planning for all clients. - Master's in Psychology, Social Work or related field required. License preferred.
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience with behavioral health
- Familiarity with principles of psychiatric recovery required
- CPR/First Aid
- Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle to provide transportation of consumers
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully at coordinating care across a continuum of care required
