Job Responsibilities • Test Case Execution: Run predefined test cases on software applications to identify any issues or bugs, documenting test results and discrepancies between expected and actual outcomes. • Bug Reporting: Identify, record, and report software bugs with clear and detailed documentation, while collaborating with developers to clarify and prioritize issues for timely resolutions. • Test Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining essential test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure thorough testing protocols are followed. • Manual Testing: Perform hands-on manual testing based on test cases, user stories, and requirements to ensure our software meets functional expectations. • Smoke Testing: Conduct initial smoke tests to verify that core functionalities are operational before proceeding with further testing. • Exploratory Testing: Engage in unscripted exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that scripted test cases might overlook.
