Job Description: Data Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Primary Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data schemas, data acquisition processes, transformations, and integration workflows.
• Develop and utilize software tools to interface with big data platforms and relational database solutions.
• Design and implement solutions for metadata management, data quality, and data privacy.
• Provide support and consultation to development and business teams on data-related initiatives.
• Collect, validate, and interpret data from various sources.
• Analyze data results and identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
• Present analytical findings to business stakeholders in reports, dashboards, or presentations.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand business needs and define data collection and analytical processes.
• Continuously improve data models, reporting systems, and data workflows.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
• Strong ability to evaluate existing tools and databases and recommend effective software solutions.
• Excellent ability to translate technical insights into clear, non-technical language for business stakeholders.
• Proven experience with methodologies and best practices for managing large-scale databases.
• Hands-on experience working with large datasets, relational databases, and data manipulation tools.
