Pets Best is seeking a Senior Data Analyst & Governance to join the Pets Best Data & Analytics team. This role will perform advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making, develop and implement governance standards, and lead initiatives that strengthen data stewardship across Pets Best. The position also supports enterprise-level governance for IPH. You will champion analytics excellence, ensure compliance with governance frameworks, and deliver actionable insights through business intelligence solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Governance Leadership: Define and enforce data governance policies across Pets Best and IPH IDEA, ensuring data quality, stewardship, and compliance.
- Analytics & BI Development: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions to monitor governance adoption and support business decision-making.
- Change Management: Lead cultural adoption of governance practices through training, communication campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.
- Performance Measurement: Develop KPIs and analytics to track governance adoption, catalog usage, and data literacy improvements.
- Collaboration: Partner with enterprise data teams, business units, and technology teams to align governance and analytics strategies.
- 6+ years in data governance, analytics, or related fields.
- Strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL.
- Proven ability to lead governance initiatives and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications in data management (CDMP), analytics, or governance frameworks.
- Experience in insurance or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., MS Purview) and concepts.
- Experience with analytics engineering tools such as Python and dbt for data transformation and automation.
