Epic Beaker Systems Analyst (Data Innovations / Middleware Support) Type: Contract Category: IT Admin Industry: Healthcare Remote Work: Available Reference ID: JN Date Posted: Description: We are seeking a skilled Epic Beaker Systems Analyst to join our team and support a dynamic healthcare diagnostics organization known for its high-volume Epic Beaker laboratory environment. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to daily operations, ensuring smooth instrument connectivity and optimal data flow. Responsibilities include:

• Providing day-to-day production support for Epic Beaker (CP), focusing on troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Administering and supporting Data Innovations (DI) middleware to guarantee reliable instrument connectivity.
• Managing frequent instrument additions, removals, and changes within a busy lab setting.
• Troubleshooting interface issues, rules, and connections between lab instruments and Beaker.
• Collaborating with local LIS, lab operations, and IT teams to address challenges and support ongoing requirements.
• Following ServiceNow-based change control and incident management processes.
• Contributing to light Beaker build and configuration when necessary.
• Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week every 6 weeks).

This role is focused on production support and middleware within a vibrant laboratory environment. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced settings and possess extensive experience troubleshooting instrument interfaces and supporting Beaker application workflows. Experience Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with the Epic Beaker application.
• Strong background in Data Innovations (DI) middleware and interfacing with lab instruments.
• Experience in production systems within a large healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, and formal change control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Epic Beaker certification and relevant Data Innovations certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience managing multiple lab instruments simultaneously.
• History of collaboration with laboratory operations or LIS teams.
• Experience in high-change, high-uptime healthcare or diagnostics settings.
