We’re working with a tier 1 credit fund that is looking to expand its direct lending team. The team has been very active since inception focusing on middle‑market borrowers.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse potential direct lending opportunities focusing on middle market borrowers
Perform in-depth financial modelling, valuation analysis, and scenario stress testing
Lead due diligence efforts across financial, legal, operational, and market aspects of transactions
Prepare and present investment committee materials with clear, data‑driven recommendations
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage risk
Engage with borrowers, sponsors, and advisors to support transaction execution and portfolio oversight
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private credit, or a similar analytical role.
Strong financial modelling and credit analysis skills.
Demonstrated ability to think critically and make informed, independent judgments.
Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mind.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
