Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Summary
Responsible for prospecting and running Payroll presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Payroll Territory Manager (PTM), you will report to the Payroll Division Manager (PDM). Activities include explaining our value proposition to clients via Atlas CRM, upselling current clients on other products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the PDM. Additionally, the PTM is responsible for training and coaching Senior Product Advisors (SPAs), who report to them.
Your role as the PTM is to close sales of our business solutions with clients throughout the area. You will work closely with your local PDM to set appointments with business owners over the phone, face to face, through your network, and via referral partnerships that you build. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs and present Heartland payroll solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses.
During the training period, your PDM will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you on our short-cycle sales process using our tablet-based CRM platform, Atlas, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis and paperless contract processing. You will also accompany SPA’s on their initial appointments to train. After training you will have the opportunity to set up your own work schedule to maximize the upside of the residuals on the business you bring in.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for prospecting new clients into our Payroll/HCM services realm
Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently Atlas.
Responsible for achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure a WIN
Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry, to remain up-to-date.
Attend weekly team meeting and weekly one-on-one with leader
Responsible for training and coaching Senior Product Advisors (SPAs), who report to them
Provide status updates to reporting PDM
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
Valid Driver’s License and valid automobile insurance
Successful completion of pre-employment background check
Must live in area relative to job posting location
At least two years of relevant experience Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
Works well independently and as part of a team \
Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity
High sense of urgency and innate sales talent
Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face
Accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely results
Ability to be in the field 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED
At least 6 years of relevant experience
At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience
