Job Description Join ECAM as a Low Voltage Technician and lead the charge in cutting‑edge surveillance technology. Based in Houston, TX, you will design, install, service, test, and maintain Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs), CCTV, alarms, and related equipment. You will ensure MSUs and sites remain in top condition, conduct weekly maintenance, collaborate on projects, assist with site surveys, update branch staff, prepare reports, stay current on technologies, manage inventory, and build client relationships.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be available.

Your Responsibilities
Ensure all MSUs and commercial sites are fully operational, clean, and accurately documented; perform weekly preventive maintenance.
Collaborate with operations teams to guarantee timely, on‑budget project completion.
Support subcontractors, installers, project coordinators, engineering managers, and sales personnel with thorough site surveys.
Provide consistent communication and updates to branch staff.
Prepare and submit detailed daily activity reports.
Stay current and knowledgeable on mobile surveillance systems and related technologies.
Manage and update MSU and job site inventory records.
Foster and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
Inform account executives and branch personnel of any issues or developments at customer sites.
Safely transport MSUs to, from, and between customer locations.
Review video footage upon request and notify operations or clients of all review requests.
Your Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States.
Capable of passing an extensive screening process.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company vehicle and insurance eligibility standards.
Pass all hiring requirements, including background and drug screening.
One year of hands‑on experience with CCTV or alarm system installation.
Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, and low‑voltage electronics.
Basic understanding of electricity and job site safety practices.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
Possibility to obtain and maintain a valid state security license, depending on location.
Ideal Skills & Attributes
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and follow‑up skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of wire types, wire sizing, and common electrical standards.
Comfortable using manual and electric hand tools following safety practices.

Comfortable working at heights and in physically active roles.
