Location:
San Antonio, TX . This is a hybrid role requiring on‑site presence at least three days a week.
This role focuses on supporting incoming multinational clients from Marsh's overseas offices who need U.S. insurance coverage. Core responsibilities include:
Managing multinational business and supporting clients from offshore operations requiring U.S. coverage.
Operating within the global commercial insurance marketplace while maintaining relationships with overseas offices and U.S. clients.
Determining the scope of work needed in the U.S. and identifying necessary Marsh resources.
Marketing the U.S. insurance program while ensuring direct communication with U.S. clients and coordinating with overseas teams across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Evaluating risks and reviewing client needs to perform essential client functions.
Retaining and generating new business through strategic information management, contract reviews, and mid‑term adjustments.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, prospects, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service, drive growth, and stay informed about market changes and compliance standards.
Required qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a commercial insurance broker, commercial insurance account manager, or commercial underwriter.
Property & Casualty license or willingness and ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desired qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with surplus line placements.
