Network Engineer – Phoenix, AZ We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to support enterprise, campus, data center, and distributed partner networks.

Onsite and Work-From-Home Requirements

This position requires them to be onsite 3 days a week with 2 work from home days. In the first 90 days, the position is 100% onsite.

On-call - They need to understand on call requires them to be available to arrive onsite, if necessary, when they are called for an incident requiring their assistance.

CCNA and CCNP required and preferably a CCIE or equivalent

CURRENT experience teaching and mentoring is a huge plus!

We are looking for someone who can easily navigate large complex network environments including datacenter equipment with high levels of competencies with route/switch and MPLS.

The ideal candidate would be able to seamlessly integrate their own experience and knowledge into our team.

They would need to truly be at the senior level of knowledge in our environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN), with a strong emphasis on MPLS-based campus environments and cloud integrations.

Manage and troubleshoot complex network environments including routing, switching, wireless, VPN, load balancing, and firewall services.

Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and campus stakeholders to evaluate network needs, develop solutions, and execute projects.

Mentor junior network administrators, share technical knowledge, and contribute to lifecycle planning and documentation.

Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed to ensure 24/7 network availability.

Network monitoring and configuration tools

Network hardware: Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Arista, Aruba, and Extreme Wireless

Load balancers: Citrix, F5

VPN technologies: Cisco, Palo Alto Cisco Catalyst Center, SD-WAN platforms, and cloud networking tools

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field from a regionally accredited institution and 5 years of professional experience in network administration; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Experience

Routing & Switching protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN

Campus and Data Center networking technologies (e.g., VXLAN, ACI)

Troubleshooting tools and packet capture analysis

Certifications (Preferred but not required)

Cisco CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent
