Weapons System Analyst - Junior – TS/SCI – Quantico, VA

Junior Weapons System Analyst – Quantico, VA
Key responsibilities
Deliver analysis and operational insights on foreign and adversary weapons systems.
Support includes simulating Red Force capabilities, assisting in threat modeling, and contributing to exercises and planning that replicate realistic opposing force scenarios.
Conduct research and analysis on global threat weapons systems and tactics.
Support joint and service‑level exercises by providing realistic Red Force planning inputs.
Assist in developing threat laydowns and engagement scenarios.
Collaborate with Blue Force analysts to assess system vulnerabilities.
Generate intelligence production in the form of briefings and reports on adversary capabilities and strategic implications.
Requirements
TS/SCI Security Clearance.
At least 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the labor category, with at least some of the experience within the last 2 years.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent 7‑year experience substitution.
Working knowledge of the concepts involved in the specific functions outlined in the description.
Knowledge of and ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
Ability to work semi‑independently with oversight and direction.
Ability to apply logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information.
Produce timely, logical, concise analytic reports and briefing materials in various formats.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Develop structured research and manage information within security protocols.
Recognize nuances and resolve contradictions in information.
Apply complex analytic methodologies (e.g., Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, Devil’s Advocacy, Red Team Analysis, etc.).
Understand intelligence collection capabilities and limitations.
Engage with collection managers and develop collection requirements.
