Competitive salary range: $120,000 – $160,000 annually

Requirements & Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Must reside in New Jersey
Active New Jersey Bar admission, in good standing
Must reside in New Jersey and able to attend court as needed
8+ years of experience in Trusts & Estates law
Demonstrated expertise in estate planning, tax law, and trust administration
Proven ability to manage sensitive client matters with discretion and integrity
Strong trial or litigation experience preferred
Portable book of business or active cases preferred
Must Haves (Responsibilities)
Draft and review wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents
Structure and oversee estate and trust administration matters
Supervise the preparation of fiduciary income, estate, and gift tax returns
Analyze and quantify the tax impacts of estate and business succession plans
Represent clients in probate or Surrogate’s Court proceedings
Manage and delegate work to paralegal support staff
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, providing clear, compassionate counsel during complex and emotional matters
Preferred Background & Skills
Advanced understanding of federal and state tax laws and estate tax principles
Experience drafting operating and shareholder agreements
Exceptional writing, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High emotional intelligence and client empathy
A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to a positive firm culture
