Responsibilities

Handle lower‑level liability and/or physical damage claims under close supervision.

Support other claims representatives, examiners, and leads with larger or more complex claims as necessary.

Process general liability claims to determine compensability and benefits due; monitor reserve accuracy and submit necessary documentation to state agencies.

Communicate claim action/processing with claimant, client, and appropriate medical contact.

Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.

Process routine payments, prescriptions, and status reports for lifetime or defined period medical claims.

Maintain professional client relationships.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Support the organization’s quality program(s).

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Licenses as required.

One year of general office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Claims industry experience preferred.
