Hospital Distribution Technician

You will support Vitalant’s life‑saving mission by managing the inventory of blood and blood products and facilitating the packaging and shipment to local hospitals and patients in our Denver location and around the nation. Whether you are just starting your career, or new to the blood banking industry, we’re here to train, mentor and help you grow.
What to Expect Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy.
Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability.
Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees. Attention to detail is a must.
Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED required
Valid in-state driver's license required
Six months of customer service experience required
Prior healthcare industry or medical courier experience preferred
Able to lift 40lbs
