The Inventory Specialist is primarily responsible for performing regular cycle counts of all TRG owned and customer owned inventory. They will also work with the operations team with researching and correcting any discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have an impeccable work ethic and understand that their job has an impact on the core operation of the business. We are seeking a self-starter that takes initiative, that is able to work in a fast-paced environment and most importantly, someone who works well with others.
Responsibilities:
Build a schedule to ensure that all customer inventory is counted and validated on a regular basis.
Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
Performs and assists with general maintenance and cleanup of warehouse.
Collaborate with operations team and resolve all data integrity issues and monitor all customer inventory and prepare reports on performance.
Locate and put away newly received inventory.
Pull inventory for orders on a daily basis.
Pick completed orders on a daily basis.
Detailed Work Activities:
Monitor inventory integrity by performing daily cycle counts to maintain established accuracy goals.
Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy.
Review inventory transactions to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.
Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products.
Report inventory shortage adjustments to Supervisor to avoid stock-outs, and no-stocks.
Maintain records for inventory accuracy trends, inventory reconciliations, fiscal year-end inventory audit.
Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audit.
Demonstrate communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) with all levels of management and the ability to present data in levels of detail appropriate for the audience.
Sort materials or objects for processing or transport.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Dependable transportation to get to and from work.

Ability to cooperate with others to give and receive information both verbally and in writing / via email.
Ability to apply knowledge and work independently as needed.
