Position Summary:
Launch
is our new pathway for graduates stepping directly into permanent roles. The program is designed for ambitious graduates (Bachelors, Masters or PhD level) who are ready to make an impact from day one, supported with on‑the‑job learning and career progression opportunities. You’ll work on a wide range of projects supporting Rolls‑Royce’s diverse customer base and will be responsible for Configuration Management (CM), supporting engineers in complex system, software and hardware development. You’ll be an active participant, helping teams understand and comply with CM‑related processes. During development, it is important that product life‑cycle data is controlled and documented correctly and consistently.
Responsibilities
Join an engaged, multi‑disciplinary team of engineers and support Controls Software Development landscape.
Collaborate across software, systems, electronics, electrical power and system security domains.
Ensure changes to configured data are authorized and tracked to completion.
Work with internal and external customers to meet quality and safety standards and external certification requirements.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity and analytical/critical thinking.
Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.
Knowledge/experience of high‑level software languages.
Knowledge/experience with system control.
Good written and oral communication to a variety of audiences.
Demonstrated presentation skills (oral and visual).
Ability to travel to worksites.
Relevant majors (STEM disciplines). Educated to degree level in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or an Engineering Technology degree.
Graduation between December 2025 and August 2026.
Indefinite work authorization in the U.S.; no sponsorships available.
