Project Manager - National Developer (New York City): Overview Nationally recognized multifamily real estate developer seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of a large-scale, ground-up multifamily projects in the New York tri-state area. This role will have responsibility for delivering the project from late pre-development through construction, close-out, and stabilization, working closely with internal teams and external consultants.

The ideal candidate brings deep execution experience on large, complex multifamily developments (400+ units) and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. You will be the lead Project Manager on the project, reporting to a Senior Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day construction execution for a ground-up multifamily project in Miami

Manage the project through design development, construction, and close-out

Coordinate and oversee architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants

Work closely with construction, design, and finance teams to ensure alignment on budget, schedule, and quality

Oversee project budgets, schedules, GMP negotiations, change orders, and cost controls

Monitor construction progress, risk mitigation, and quality assurance

Lead project close-out, including punch lists, COs, warranties, and transition to operations

Prepare internal reporting and present updates to senior leadership

Qualifications

8+ years of construction and development experience, with a strong focus on ground-up multifamily execution

Proven experience delivering large-scale multifamily projects (400+ units), high-rise experience is a plus

Hands‑on experience managing design and construction teams through completion

Strong understanding of development budgets, construction contracts, and schedulingExperience working with national or institutional developers preferred

New York City market experience is required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
