Ace Cabs is recruiting Taxi Operators / Dispatch Operators to support our growing taxi operation in Stamford and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for organised, calm and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Taxi operators play a vital role in keeping our service running smoothly by managing bookings, dispatching drivers and supporting customers throughout their journey.
The Role
As a Taxi Operator with Ace Cabs, your responsibilities will include: Answering incoming calls and taking customer bookings Dispatching jobs to drivers using our computerised system Monitoring vehicle availability and journey progress Providing clear, polite, and professional customer service Handling general enquiries and supporting daily operations Working Patterns
Full-time and part-time positions available Shifts may include evenings or weekends Based at our Stamford office What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and customer service skills Confidence using computers and booking systems Ability to stay calm under pressure Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Previous operator or call-handling experience is helpful but not essential Training & Checks
Full training provided on our dispatch and booking systems Ongoing guidance and support from management All suitable roles require an Enhanced DBS (police) check Why Join Ace Cabs?
