Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.
National General Insurance is seeking a Field Auto Claims Adjuster to support our Kansas region. Join our high‑performing auto claims team where your estimating expertise, customer focus, and sound judgment shape every outcome. The ideal candidate is located within a 50‑mile radius of the service areas listed below (Conway and Fort Smith) and can travel throughout the region to support our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
Demonstrates basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits
Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers
Experience
0‑2 years experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is $26.03–$34.69 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
