Responsible for administrative tasks within the cancer program.

Responsibilities

Gathers information from providers and hospital medical reports to create protocols for Good Samaritan tumor board.

Manages tumor board meetings (virtual or hybrid); takes notes, keeps attendance records, and manages related paperwork.

Assists Lung Screening by managing patient appointments and schedules; works with screening schedulers to maintain patient working list; manages weekly letters distributed to patients and offices; assists in managing IPA physicians and manual processes.

Assists other navigators in data gathering and maintenance:

Colorectal and GU program: surveillance data maintenance.

Survivorship:

Strength training class set up and logistics.

Logistics on all classes (room, attendance, printed material, roster management).

Manages multidisciplinary, lung and brain tumor board logistics: prep and host virtual/hybrid meetings; gathers data for reports to the cancer program.

Assists in CoC and other data gathering tasks with the clinical director.

Coordinates logistics on community screening, prevention, wellness, and survivorship seminars; works with clinicians on dates and times; collaborates with marketing to create and distribute content and flyers; schedules rooms and equipment; communicates with attendees; tracks paperwork, attendance, and compiles data.

Maintains web/SharePoint contents.

Gathers data for dashboard updates.

Maintains handouts and flyers.

Performs duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Required Experience

High school graduate/GED.

Computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledgeable of all Microsoft basic programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Preferred

Cancer background highly preferred.

Medical training highly preferred.
