About The Role As a Training and Development Specialist supporting our Quincy Customer Fulfillment Center, you will consult with leaders and teams to identify and implement solutions that drive individual, team, and organizational performance. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, operational excellence, and quality through training, development, and change management initiatives. This role works closely with site leadership, Human Resources, and subject matter experts to ensure training programs meet compliance standards and align with strategic business goals.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office in Quincy, MA. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Provide administrative support for learning systems, WMS system access, training approvals, curriculum updates, and training tracking/reporting
Maintain accurate training records, monitor on‑job training, and ensure compliance with Quality System and regulatory requirements
Deliver New Hire Onboarding and coordinate refresher training for existing employees; evaluate training effectiveness and apply improvements based on data and feedback
Create training materials and recommend appropriate training resources to improve performance and ensure compliance for distribution and production employees
Collaborate with Business Process Leads and managers to deliver training that supports operational changes and initiatives
Conduct formal and informal needs assessments (e.g., surveys, focus groups) to identify root causes of performance challenges and recommend actionable solutions
Lead change management efforts by developing communication plans and materials that support site‑level initiatives
Develop and manage eLearning content across multiple learning management systems (LMS)
Qualifications Required qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in training, learning and development or a related field
Proven experience building, delivering, and evaluating training programs in a regulated environment
Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences across multiple levels
Experience using learning management systems and content development tools
Ability to conduct needs assessments and analyze data to drive performance solutions
Working knowledge of change management practices and principles
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting training initiatives in a regulated industry (medical device, pharma, aerospace, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline
Familiarity with Quality Systems and compliance‑based training tracking
eLearning development experience using tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar
