RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce is seeking an AV/IT Support Tech in New York, NY. Summary
As a Technical Support Technician, you will leverage your IT expertise and customer service skills to provide comprehensive technical support within a law firm setting. Your role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction by resolving hardware and software issues and supporting the unique needs of a legal IT environment. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, ensuring smooth operations and recommending solutions Provide on-site and remote support, desk-side training, and customer service for all IT-related issues Support mobile devices, including enrollment in MDM and two-factor authentication Manage support tickets per SLAs, track requests, and maintain communication until resolution Perform proactive maintenance to prevent downtime Apply imaging processes for desktops/laptops, including data backup and configuration Maintain IT asset records in the Configuration Management system, including updates and off-site hardware movement Create and maintain team documentation (checklists, equipment summaries, IS library content) Deploy and recover IT assets for new hires and terminations; assist with lease returns, equipment relocation, and end-of-life disposal Participate in rotational weekend and after-hours on-call support Assist with IS projects, rollouts, and other duties as assigned Requirements
Associate’s degree and at least one IT certification required; Bachelor’s preferred Minimum 3 years of IT experience Adaptability to evolving technologies and firm needs Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to manage confidential information Critical thinking and problem-solving in complex technical environments Organizational excellence, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in fast-paced settings Broad knowledge of Microsoft applications; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Availability for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Microsoft or CompTIA certifications desired Law firm experience strongly preferred Compensation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. Benefits
