Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer passionate about solving complex challenges, striving for exceptional quality, and eager to make a difference in people’s lives. As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, you will design and build software projects that integrate real‑time data on public safety vehicles using the Oracle CareAware Platform and the Oracle IoT Platform. Your work will support next‑generation ambulances, AI‑first solutions for clinicians, and fleet maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
Design end‑to‑end architecture for scalable, reliable, cloud‑native healthcare and data platforms.
Develop an AI‑first workflow that enables a small team to deliver quality code and testing frameworks at scale.
Translate high‑level system design into architectural documentation, drive engineering peer reviews, and lead technical decisions.
Collaborate across teams and with healthcare domain experts to deliver intuitive user experiences and open APIs.
Prototype critical components, bootstrap projects, and contribute high‑quality code with strong review practices.
Automate and instrument build, test, and deployment workflows to improve developer velocity and service resilience.
What you must have
Expertise in system design, data architecture, and secure data handling/privacy‑by‑design.
Proven delivery with architects, principals, product, and program managers.
Functional expertise and broad company knowledge.
Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills.
Strong communication, analytical, and product‑development understanding.
BS or MS degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field with 10+ years of software engineering experience.
