Project Leader - Architecture and Design
Job Description Lead projects for both new and existing clients, directing design efforts throughout design and construction phases, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and produce design content, products, and final deliverables.
Develop design documentation through design and construction phases while upholding company standards.
Coordinate, guide, and lead design and project meetings with clients and project teams.
Present final products to clients and key stakeholders with regional and home‑office teams.
Identify, communicate, and document deviations in project scope while managing expectations.
Participate in the development and maintenance of client relationships; foster new ones.
Lead and participate in project interviews for new projects.
Recommend ways to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Travel requirement: up to 25%.
Essential Skills
Exceptional Revit and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience managing and leading multi‑disciplined project teams.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, VantagePoint.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Registered Architect with eligibility for NC license within 60 days of hire.
5–7 years of experience.
Preferred: design experience in industrial, manufacturing, or US Federal Government facilities.
Work Environment The role involves a hybrid work schedule with a flexible and brand new office in South End. The position may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and working for prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk while working on a computer. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The company is a new entity in CLT, offering a wide range of projects and opportunities for growth within the firm.
Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year.
Benefits: PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k).
Workplace Type Hybrid position in Charlotte, NC.
