Pay Range $61,000.00 /yr – $119,000.00 /yr (base salary; actual pay varies by experience, education and market factors).

How You’ll Make an Impact
Assist the Underwriter/Broker Senior in servicing and operational management of accounts.
Underwrite, service and manage assigned accounts, achieving production and service goals.
Underwrite individual insurance applications for property and casualty, using guidelines for standard and substandard issuance.
Determine whether to accept, modify or decline a risk through evaluation of property value, location, usage, safety features and other pertinent information.
Maintain frequent contact with field agents to gather data and defend underwriting decisions.
About You – Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
Preferred: Demonstrated originality and ingenuity in broad assignments; strong analytic and communication skills.
