Knowledge of PC hardware, Network hardware, Storage components, DC cabling, Racking Servers, managing and coordinating third‑party vendors.
Need excellent problem‑solving skills. Should be able to follow SNOW, SLAs, reporting, etc.
Responsibilities
Physical server management and support in Data Center
Ticket system – Incidents – Service Requests
Ticket handling
Meeting with involved parties for alignment
Goods Received – SAP – Posting of goods
Receiving goods
Check for completeness
Scanning and posting in SAP
Storage handling
Server
Network components
Storage systems
Small parts
Transportation of goods across locations (with logistic company)
Cable management with Sub‑Company
Define Cabling
Request cabling
Check cabling
Dispose cabling
Mount/Dismount servers
Racking
Stacking
Cable connections
Configuration of Remote Board
Health Check
Maintaining Documentation
CMDB Updates
Inventory checks
Qualifications Experience: 1‑3 Years
Compensation The expected compensation for this role ranges from $34,500 to $76,000.
Benefits Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
