The 21st Judicial District is seeking a motivated and dedicated

Assistant District Attorney

to join the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office. This role offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful public service through criminal prosecution while developing strong courtroom and litigation skills.

not required .

Baseline Responsibilities

Criminal prosecution of assigned cases

Legal research and legal writing

Trial preparation and courtroom advocacy

Motion practice and hearings

Plea negotiations and case resolution

Minimum Qualifications

Law degree (JD)

Licensed in the State of Tennessee or eligible for licensure

Demonstrated interest in criminal law

Preferred Qualifications

Prior prosecution or trial experience

5–13 years of legal experience

Compensation

Monthly salary: Up to

ADA Level 13

Salary is determined in accordance with

Tennessee Code § 8-7-226
