Position Overview The Ethics Investigator supports a broad range of activities to enhance the Company’s policies, procedures, training, and investigations. Under the direction of the Associate General Counsel, this role will conduct fact‑finding investigations for compliance concerns; document findings and communicate to appropriate stakeholders re: investigative results; analyze data to address compliance‑related deficiencies in TruGreen’s policies and practices; lead training and communication regarding compliance‑related issues; conduct analysis of trends and present findings to senior HR and legal leaders; assist in facilitating other compliance‑related functions as needed (leave management; employment testing; policy development and maintenance, etc.).

You MUST BE physically located in the United States while performing this job.

Responsibilities

Conduct fact‑finding for more complex and/or sophisticated investigations of compliance allegations and conflict of interest matters.

Analyze, prepare, and provide metrics, reports, and related analyses to leadership; identify areas of risk and strategies for improvement based on investigative results.

With the support of subject matter experts in the Legal and HR Departments, provide training and communication regarding substantive compliance areas.

Review and edit enterprise policies; identify policy gaps and recommend/pre‑prepare solutions.

Assist in other compliance areas (associate and applicant screening, leave management, etc.).

Participate and contribute to various corporate projects and teams related to ethics and compliance initiatives.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

At least 3-5 years experience in ethics/compliance program management, HR investigations, loss prevention, or similar compliance‑related role required.

Legal experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and case management database systems.

Ability to influence and communicate with people across an organization.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; foreign language skills a plus.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels.

Sound judgment and proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Strong attention to detail, well‑organized, and ability to manage time efficiently.

A high degree of initiative requiring little or no supervision.

Ability to prioritize projects, solve problems and meet project timelines.

Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is required.

Pay Ranges $54,983.00 – $91,638.00. This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
